Prince George appears to have shown his “true colours” as he was seen with his parents at Wimbledon on the weekend. The Prince attended the tennis tournament on Sunday (July 12), and a certain moment seemed to capture a lot of people’s attention as he displayed a side to himself that’s rarely seen.
Prince George was seen at the event alongside Prince William, Princess Kate and his sister, Princess Charlotte, and he certainly caught the eyes of many onlookers. After pictures emerged of him watching the tennis on X, they soon started to go viral, with several people admitting they were drawn to him during the match.
He’s not the first Royal to have distracted people at the event either. Last week, Queen Camilla also drew people’s eyes to something unexpected when she attempted to cool down during the heatwave.
One account, known as Royally Belle, shared some pictures alongside the caption: “This is too funny. Prince George cracking up his mum and sister with his sun hat antics!”
In the photographs, you then see the young Royal donning a sun hat to try and protect himself from the rays. When he paired it with his sunglasses, and started playing with it, it appeared the ladies found the touching moment quite amusing.
The pair were seen laughing as he rocked the hat, and showed a great side to his sense of humour. Many thought it seemed to expose his “true colours”, as he appeared to like a bit of banter, much like his dad.
After the snaps were shared, many people started to talk about the pictures as they thought the moment was so brilliant. It seems he got many chuckling with his adorable antics.
One said: “It shows they’re human after all. Decides to play with his hat. Good going Prince George.”

Another added: “I love it when George laughs, his whole face lights up.” A third replied: “What can be better than a family that can laugh and joke with each other?
“Especially in the glare of the public eye. God bless the Wales family.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Gosh I love this family. Not a care in the world. Just loving life.”
One more also wrote: “So funny. I love these pictures and how normal and close the Waleses are.”
It comes as the family attended the Wimbledon final on Sunday (July 12). They arrived together looking super happy, and seemed to enjoy their time at the event throughout.
Posting on Instagram following the tournament, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: “A brilliant Men’s Final at The Championships. Congratulations @janniksin on a superb performance and a well-earned @wimbledon title!”
