Bieber has continued embracing his love of sports in recent months. Last month, he made a surprise appearance at the 2026 NHL Draft at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, where he helped announce the first overall pick.
A lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan, Bieber had the honor of revealing the team’s selection of Penn State standout Gavin McKenna.
“What an incredible night,” Bieber said from the draft floor. “The child in me is ecstatic right now. I’ve been a Leafs fan since I was just a little boy. These nights are so special. I’m so grateful to be here.”
Fanatics Fest 2026 has also generated plenty of headlines beyond Bieber’s appearance. One of the event’s biggest viral moments came when NFL legend Tom Brady appeared to slap social media star and WWE personality Logan Paul during an onstage exchange.
Paul later joked on Instagram that he was “suing @tombrady,” sharing footage of the moment. During their appearance together, he teased the seven-time Super Bowl champion, saying that as the “GOAT,” Brady “should be doing dope s***.”
When Paul threatened to “hurt” Brady if he returned to the convention next year, the former quarterback responded with what looked like an open-handed slap, sending social media into a frenzy.
Paul later doubled down on the joke, writing over another clip: “Mad bc I smoked him… Blocked [with] a torn tricep.”
