Three perfect shows to binge-watch after finishing The Pitt

Fans have suggested a number of new series to try out if you have finished binge-watching The Pitt. The HBO drama centres on the lives of staff at a hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, offering a realistic portrayal of emergency department workers and the high-stakes pressures they face every day. After one Reddit user requested new series suggestions, someone replied with The West Wing. While it is not medical based, it is certainly high-stakes.
The NBC series explored the cut-throat world of American politics, with fictional President Josiah “Jed” Bartlet (Martin Sheen) leading the way. Working underneath the president is a team of advisers who often had their personal lives entangled with their professional duties. The show won numerous awards during its seven year run from 1999 to 2006, including 26 Primetime Emmy Awards.

All seven series can be streamed on Channel 4 now.
Another suggested the acclaimed drama Six Feet Under, which follows the Fisher family who run a funeral home in Los Angeles. Following the sudden death of Nathanial Fisher, the family are thrown into disarray and must come together to run the family business.
The show explores the conflicts and secrets amongst the members of the Fisher family, who struggle in their grief. It stars Peter Krause, Lauren Ambrose, Michael C.Hall and Frances Conroy.
Running for five seasons from 2001 to 2005, the show is often regarded as having the greatest finale episode of all time.

If fans are looking for something directly faced-paced and set in the emergency room, then Chicago Med needs to be one to add to your watch list.
Created by Dick Wolf, it follows the emergency department doctors and nurses who work in the fictional Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.
As they fight to save lives, the employees must also deal with professional pressures of their jobs while navigating their interpersonal relationships. It is the third instalment of the Chicago franchise, after Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D., and was recently renewed for a 12th season.
Awarding the show a 10 out of 10 score on IMDb, one person said: “In my opinion Chicago Med is the best medical series since ER.”
