On this day in 2017, Luke Bryan kicked off his Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day Tour with two sold-out shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The back-to-back nights featured several surprise guests, including an appearance from fellow country superstar Carrie Underwood.

In the midst of Bryan’s set, Underwood shocked the capacity crowd when she appeared on stage to join Bryan for a duet of his massive hit, “Play It Again.”

The crowd erupted with cheers at the sight of the songstress, who was sporting a laid-back look with a Nashville Predators Tee-Shirt with her husband, Mike Fisher’s, number on the back. She completed the look with brown cowboy boots and jeans.

After making her way across the stage, Underwood gifted Bryan with a Predators Hat as they sang “Play It Again.”

That’s not all – Bryan and Underwood then made their way to a piano where they went on to sing the Randy Travis hit, “I Told You So.”

“I Told You So” was originally recorded by Travis and rose to No.1 in 1988. Underwood recorded a cover of the song for her 2007 album, Carnival Ride, and later teamed up with Travis to record a duet of the song. Their collaboration was released to country radio and once again, became a massive chart success.

The audience sang along to the country classic.

The following day, Underwood took to social media to thank the Georgia native for having her out to the show.

Bryan and Underwood have yet to collaborate on their own duet, but it’s safe to say it would shoot to the top of the charts!
