Dominic West and Sienna Miller Go Head-to-Head in Sky’s New Divorce Drama War
When one of Britain’s wealthiest and most famous couples decide to divorce, the legal battle quickly becomes anything but private. That is the setup for Sky’s new eight-part drama War, starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller as a tech entrepreneur and international film star whose marriage ends in a spectacular courtroom showdown.
West plays British technology entrepreneur Morgan Henderson, while Miller stars as Carla Duval, an internationally renowned film actress. Their decision to separate sets off what the series describes as “the biggest divorce trial in British legal history.”
The newly released trailer gives a glimpse of just how fierce the fight will become.

A divorce battle turns into a legal war
As Morgan and Carla’s divorce proceedings begin, two elite law firms prepare for a battle of their own. Cathcarts & Sons represents Morgan, while Taylor & Byrne takes Carla’s side, with both firms determined to convince their clients that they are the wronged party.
Carla makes her position clear in the trailer, telling her legal team that she has “no idea who I’ve been married to.” She then delivers a pointed warning: “Let’s take him for every penny he’s got… and he’s got quite a few.”
The series follows the legal battle as it unfolds alongside the personal and public consequences of a marriage breaking down under intense scrutiny.
War was created by George Kay, whose previous credits include Lupin and Hijack. The drama combines the high stakes of a major legal case with the ambition, rivalries and personal conflicts of the lawyers fighting it.
And there is already more to come. Sky has renewed War for a second season, with filming already underway.
What is War about?
Across eight episodes, War focuses on the lives and ambitions of some of London’s most powerful lawyers.
At the centre of the story are rival firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne, whose fierce competition intensifies as they take on the high-profile Henderson-Duval divorce.
Young lawyer Johnny Warren, played by Archie Renaux, becomes caught up in this demanding world, where ambition drives careers, betrayal can be a tactic and victory comes at any cost.
