Netflix Viewers Can’t Stop Watching… A gripping eight-part crime drama has quietly become one of Netflix’s biggest television hits — and its latest milestone puts just how huge it has become into perspective.

Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You Breaks Into Netflix’s Most Popular Shows Ranking

Harlan Coben’s I Will Find You has reached another major milestone on Netflix. After a strong run since its June debut, the eight-part crime drama has now entered the streamer’s ranking of its most popular shows of all time.

For the week, I Will Find You ranks No. 7 on Netflix’s English TV list, with 2.7 million views. Its bigger achievement, however, is its position on Netflix’s all-time Most Popular Shows chart. The series has climbed to No. 8 after accumulating 112.9 million views during its first nine weeks.

That puts I Will Find You among some of Netflix’s biggest television successes, including Wednesday, Stranger Things, Bridgerton, and The Queen’s Gambit.

A Strong Run Since Its June Premiere

Adapted from Coben’s 2023 novel of the same name, I Will Find You premiered on June 18 and has remained a consistent presence on Netflix’s charts.

The series recently crossed another notable benchmark by spending more than 50 days in the U.S. Top 10. Shortly after its debut, Netflix also confirmed that the drama had delivered the biggest series release of 2026.

Its latest ranking adds another significant achievement to what has already been a strong performance for the series.

Netflix’s Long-Running Partnership With Harlan Coben

I Will Find You Britt Lower

The success of I Will Find You continues a productive relationship between Coben and Netflix that began in 2018. Since then, the streamer has adapted numerous novels by the best-selling author.

Netflix currently has 13 Coben adaptations available:

  • Safe (2018)
  • The Stranger (2020)
  • The Woods (2020)
  • The Innocent (2021)
  • Gone for Good (2021)
  • Stay Close (2021)
  • Hold Tight (2022)
  • Fool Me Once (2024)
  • Missing You (2025)
  • Just One Look (2025)
  • Caught (2025)
  • Run Away (2026)
  • I Will Find You (2026)

The strong response to these adaptations has encouraged Netflix to continue its collaboration with Coben, with more projects already in development.

Myron Bolitar Brings Another Coben Series to Netflix

One of the next major Coben adaptations is Myron Bolitar, based on his long-running series of books. Production began in July.

Coben has written 12 novels centered on Myron Bolitar, beginning with Deal Breaker in 1995. The author has previously said the books are among his most precious work and that he had been reluctant to sell the adaptation rights. His long-standing partnership with Netflix ultimately appears to have changed his mind.

The story follows Myron Bolitar, a former basketball player who becomes a sports agent. His new career soon leads him into situations where protecting his clients means putting his own life at risk.

The Netflix series features KJ Apa (Riverdale), Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black), Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live), Jabari Banks (Bel-Air), Jamie McShane (Sons of Anarchy), and Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens.

An English-Language The Woods Is Also in Production

Another Coben adaptation currently in production is The Woods. Netflix previously released a Polish miniseries based on the novel in 2020, but the new project will tell the story as an English-language adaptation.

The cast includes Tom Bateman (The Love Hypothesis), Michelle Keegan (Fool Me Once), and Mandeep Dhillon (MobLand).

The story follows Paul ‘Cope’ Copeland, whose sister Camille disappears while attending a summer camp in the woods. Cope believes she was killed and eventually tries to rebuild his life after the tragedy.

Twenty years later, a man’s body is found. He was supposedly murdered around the same time Camille disappeared.

The discovery forces Cope to reconsider what he believed happened all those years ago. As doubts grow, he begins to suspect that Camille may have survived. He then sets out to uncover the truth behind her disappearance.

The story also has a personal connection for Coben. In an interview with Tudum, the author said The Woods is one of his most personal novels. Like Paul Copeland, Coben once worked as a counselor at a sleepaway camp despite being too young for the position.

With I Will Find You now firmly established among Netflix’s most popular shows and several more adaptations in development or production, Coben’s partnership with the streamer shows no sign of slowing down.
