‘The Price Is Right’ Contestant Wins $20,000 — Then Celebrates by Hitting the Prize Sign
A $20,000 win sent The Price Is Right contestant Gary Khachiken into an unforgettable celebration. Barely able to contain his excitement, he ran across the stage, high-fived host Drew Carey and jumped up to hit the sign announcing his prize.
Khachiken originally appeared on the CBS game show on October 22, 2025. On September 24, 2026, The Price Is Right revisited his victory on social media, giving fans another look at the contestant’s energetic reaction.

From a Winning Bid to the Hot Seat
Khachiken began his game by bidding $2,200 on a collection of Jimmy Choo accessories. Their actual retail price was $2,680, making his the highest bid and earning him the accessories, along with a chance to compete in the Hot Seat game.
His challenge involved estimating the prices of five household items: a spice rack, a muscle roller, an RC helicopter, a car binder and a colander.
Khachiken initially guessed that the spice rack cost more than $25. After taking advice from the audience, he decided the muscle roller was priced below $80. He also placed the RC helicopter above $70 and the car binder below $55.
With just four seconds remaining, he made his final choice, estimating that the colander cost less than $45.

The results were revealed, starting with the items Khachiken had priced correctly.
The car binder cost $33, earning him $500. The colander was priced at $16, bringing his winnings to $2,500. The spice rack came in at $40, pushing his total to $5,000.
Carey then asked whether he wanted to continue playing. Khachiken made his intentions clear, saying he was “here to play and here to win.”
He chose to keep going, and his confidence paid off. The muscle roller cost $60, earning him $10,000.
Only the RC helicopter remained. Rather than stopping, Khachiken decided to take another chance. When its price was revealed to be $86, he secured the top prize of $20,000.
An Excited Contestant Takes Over the Stage

Khachiken could barely wait for Carey to finish speaking before jumping out of his seat and running across the stage to celebrate with the host.
Shouting, “Let’s go!” he leaped up and hit the $20,000 sign. He then threw his hands into the air, exclaiming, “Wow! Whoa!”
“Nice job, man,” Carey told him.
Although Khachiken’s Hot Seat victory was a major highlight, he did not advance to the Showcase after spinning 1.15 on the wheel.
Fans React to the Memorable Win
The show’s social media post quickly attracted enthusiastic responses from viewers who enjoyed both the victory and Khachiken’s celebration.
“Must be his lucky day!” one Instagram user commented.
Another wrote, “Ooo-wee!!!”
A third praised his willingness to take a risk, saying, “Gary got guts! What a win that was! $20,000 Hot Seat win on TPIR.”
One fan even referenced the famous line from Hamilton, writing, “‘I am not throwing away my shot!’ GO FOR IT! Yolo!”
Khachiken’s win was a reminder that sometimes the excitement of a game-show victory is just as memorable as the prize itself.
