All Four Battle Advisors Revealed for Season 30 of The Voice: Who Is Guiding Each Team?
The competition is heating up on Season 30 of The Voice, and four accomplished performers are stepping in to help the coaches prepare their contestants for the next major stage of the competition.
Ariana DeBose, Alex Warren, Patti LaBelle, and Carly Pearce have been revealed as the celebrity battle advisors for coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green, respectively. Each will bring a different perspective and wealth of musical experience to the contestants as they prepare to face off against their teammates.
The show aired its final Blind Auditions on Tuesday, October 6, an episode that also featured the season’s first Battle Round performance. The Battles officially begin on Monday, October 12, when the four coaches must make difficult decisions about which artists will advance and which will leave the competition.
With their teams taking shape, the coaches will rely on their celebrity advisors to help contestants refine their performances, strengthen their stage presence, and prepare for the challenges ahead.
Here’s a closer look at the four stars joining Season 30 of The Voice and what they bring to the competition.
Team Kelly: Ariana DeBose
Actress, singer, and dancer Ariana DeBose will work with Kelly Clarkson’s team, giving contestants the opportunity to learn from a performer whose career spans Broadway, film, and animation.
DeBose became widely recognized for playing Anita in the 2021 film adaptation of West Side Story. Her performance earned her both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award, marking a major milestone in her career.
Her theatrical background is equally impressive. She received a Tony Award nomination for her work in the Broadway production of Summer: The Donna Summer Musical. She also appeared in the original ensemble of the hit musical Hamilton, performing in the Broadway production from 2015 to 2016.
DeBose has also made her mark in animated films. She voiced Asha, the central character in Disney’s 2023 animated feature Wish, bringing her vocal talents to a new generation of audiences.
With experience across several forms of entertainment, DeBose is well positioned to help Team Kelly’s contestants approach their Battle Round performances with confidence and a stronger understanding of what it takes to connect with an audience.
Team Adam: Alex Warren
Singer and songwriter Alex Warren will serve as the battle advisor for Adam Levine’s team, bringing the perspective of an artist who has experienced remarkable success in the modern music industry.
Warren is best known for his viral hit “Ordinary,” which was released as a single in 2025. The song quickly found an international audience, topping charts in numerous countries, including South Africa, Portugal, Denmark, Ireland, Colombia, Canada, and the United States.
The track also connected with country music fans when Luke Combs joined Warren to perform it at Lollapalooza in 2025. The two artists later released an official recording of their collaboration, titled Ordinary (Live from Lollapalooza).
Warren’s growing profile earned him a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Olivia Dean ultimately took home the award.
As Levine’s contestants prepare for their head-to-head performances, Warren will offer guidance informed by his own experiences as a rising star whose music has reached listeners around the world. His involvement adds another contemporary pop perspective to this season’s lineup of battle advisors.
Team Queen: Patti LaBelle
Queen Latifah’s contestants will receive guidance from one of music’s most celebrated voices: Patti LaBelle, the legendary singer and actress widely known as the Godmother of Soul.
LaBelle’s career dates back to the 1960s, and she has built a lasting reputation through her powerful vocals and memorable performances. Her best-known songs include “Lady Marmalade,” “On My Own,” “If You Only Knew,” and “Stir It Up.”
Beyond music, LaBelle has developed an extensive acting career. Her screen credits include A Soldier’s Story and A Different World. She has also competed on television, appearing on Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars, where she was partnered with professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev.
For longtime The Voice viewers, LaBelle’s appointment as a battle advisor may feel familiar. Season 30 marks a return to a role she has held before. During Season 10, she served as a battle advisor for coach Christina Aguilera.
That previous experience gives LaBelle a valuable connection to the show’s format. This time, she will help Team Queen’s artists navigate the pressures of performing against their teammates, drawing on decades of experience in the music business.
Team Riley: Carly Pearce
Country music takes center stage on Riley Green’s team, with fellow country star Carly Pearce joining him as a battle advisor.
After assembling a team built around a traditional country sound, Green’s choice of Pearce is a natural fit. As a CMA, ACM, and Grammy Award-winning artist, she brings extensive experience in the genre, along with a track record of delivering emotionally resonant performances.
Pearce has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2021. Her catalog includes several well-known hits, among them “Every Little Thing,” “What He Didn’t Do,” “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” “We Don’t Fight Anymore,” and “Never Wanted to Be That Girl.”
She also has an existing musical connection with Green. The two recently collaborated on the duet “If You Don’t Leave I’m Gonna Stay,” making her appearance alongside him on The Voice especially well timed.
Pearce is no stranger to the competition, either. She has appeared on the show twice as a guest performer and previously served as a playoff advisor during Season 26, helping Michael Bublé’s team.
Her return gives her an opportunity to work with another group of contestants, this time alongside Green as his artists prepare for the Battle Rounds. With her country music background and previous experience advising contestants, Pearce brings a perspective closely aligned with the sound Green has cultivated on his team.
