But It Wasn’t The Chocolates That Immediately Grabbed Attention.
It Was The $148 (£112) Price Tag — And The Box Itself.

The Keepsake Design Is Inspired By Meghan And Prince Harry’s Montecito Home And Garden, Complete With Palm Trees And Chickens, turning the Sussexes’ California property into the centrepiece of the festive countdown.
And Online, Some Reactions Were Brutal.

One critic questioned who would spend $148 on 24 chocolates, while others mocked the price and the decision to put the Montecito home so prominently on the packaging. Others, however, praised the collaboration and called it a charming luxury Christmas launch.
There’s Another Twist: the calendar is currently available for US pre-order, but As Ever does not ship to the UK.

24 CHOCOLATES. ONE VERY FAMILIAR HOUSE. AND A £112 PRICE TAG THAT HAS TURNED MEGHAN’S LATEST CHRISTMAS LAUNCH INTO THE ROYAL DEBATE OF THE WEEK. 🍫👀
