PRINCE HARRY REVEALS THE ‘MOST BRITISH THING’ ARCHIE AND LILIBET HAVE DONE SINCE UK RETURN — AND IT INVOLVES MARMITE

Prince Harry has offered a rare glimpse into life with Archie and Lilibet since the Sussexes returned to Britain — revealing the surprisingly simple activity he believes is the “most British thing” his children have done so far.

Harry, 42, and Meghan Markle moved back to the UK in late August for an “extended period” after spending six years living in Montecito, California. Their children, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have reportedly started school close to the family’s base in the Cotswolds.

The couple have otherwise kept their children’s day-to-day lives largely private.

Meghan offered a rare glimpse earlier this month when she shared a montage of family moments, including walks through the English countryside with their dog, Harry fishing with the children and what appeared to be Lilibet cycling with a doll in a baby bike seat.

But Harry has now revealed a little more about what the youngsters have been getting up to — and apparently, it is the amount of walking that feels most British to him.

“Gone for a walk. Lots of walks. Isn’t that the most British thing?” Harry told Hello! magazine.

And it seems the Duke has also been introducing his children to some distinctly British food.

One particular combination appears to have gone down well.

“Okay yes, Marmite on crumpets,” Harry said, adding that his children are now eating the spread on crumpets, calling it “a big moment” for him.

There was less success when another British classic was put before them.

Harry revealed that Archie and Lilibet had previously tried beans on toast while the family was still living in California.

“That was in California. That was years ago. It didn’t go down very well at all,” he admitted.

The glimpse into family life came as Harry attended the WellChild Awards on Monday, September 21, where he became emotional while speaking about the dedication of parents caring for seriously ill children.

For a family that has revealed relatively little about its new life in Britain, Harry’s comments offered an unusually personal snapshot — from long countryside walks to a very British plate of Marmite and crumpets.
