In An Unexpected And Almost Comical Twist, Snoop Dogg Found Himself Momentarily Humbled At The Winter Olympics When His Credit Card Was Declined While Trying To Order A Cheeseburger And Chicken Wings — Leaving Onlookers Stunned Before He Casually Smoothed It Over In The Most Snoop Way Possible.

Snoop Dogg saw his card declined at the Winter Olympics when paying for food, with the legendary rapper then paying off his debt by gifting free tickets to a family.

Snoop Dogg has been seen throughout the Games in Milan and Cortina, appearing at multiple events to support American stars.

It was claimed Snoop Dogg had earned £393,000 ($500,000) every day for his appearances at the Paris 2024 Olympics from broadcaster NBC, with a TV ratings bonus in his contract.

NBC are the US broadcaster of the Olympics, after signing a staggering £4.5billion broadcasting deal with the International Olympic Committee back in 2014, which runs until 2032.

Snoop Dogg has been billed as an NBC correspondent and Team USA’s honorary coach at Milan Cortina.

The rapper, however, reportedly suffered an embarrassing moment when the card was said to have been declined as he paid for food last week.

Sofia Valmadre, whose family own a bar in Livigno, explained that her family had let Snoop Dogg off his bill only for the rapper to pay off his debt with Olympic tickets a day later.

‘Snoop Dogg ordered a cheeseburger, chicken wings, chicken nuggets and French fries at Cronox, the bar of my parents,’ Valmadre told Reuters.

‘He sent his staff to take it and pay, but they couldn’t pay. I don’t know why, it wasn’t going [through].

‘So my mother told him that it was okay [to take the food] without paying.

‘Today, he sent us five tickets to see the final. Grazie Snoop.’

Valmadre and her family were gifted tickets to watch the men’s snowboard halfpipe final on Friday.

Yuto Totsuka was crowned Olympic champion, finishing ahead of Australia’s Scotty James and his Japanese team-mate Ryusei Yamada.

Snoop Dogg had been among the attendees at the final, watching alongside legendary American snowboard Shaun White.

White is a triple Olympic gold medallist in the event, winning at Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010 and Pyeongchang 2018.

Snoop Dogg had been given a snowboarding lesson by White, while he also attempted bobsleigh as part of his role in NBC’s Olympic coverage.

‘That was my first time ever doing something like that on ice, and I was courageous enough to try it. And let me tell you, I’d do it again and again and again. I had fun. That was super fun,’ he told the Today show.

‘I would never do bobsledding again. That’s just not me.

‘I look good in there, but I’m not going down that hill. I had a good time.’
