MEGHAN MARKLE’S UK RETURN: FIRST PUBLIC APPEARANCE ‘COULD STILL BE WEEKS AWAY’ — BUT ONE HOLLYWOOD EVENT MAY CHANGE EVERYTHING

EXCLUSIVE: Meghan Markle has yet to make her first public appearance since returning to the UK — and according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, the wait could continue for several more weeks.

The Duchess of Sussex, 45, returned to Britain with Prince Harry and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at the end of August and is thought to be living with her family in the Cotswolds.

Yet while Harry has already stepped out for a number of public engagements, Meghan has remained firmly out of sight.

And that silence has sparked speculation over when — and where — she will finally re-emerge.

MEGHAN’S FIRST APPEARANCE COULD COME ON THE RED CARPET

Speaking to the Daily Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggested Meghan could eventually make her return at a very familiar setting: a film premiere.

Meghan has a cameo in the upcoming film Close Personal Friends, in which she plays herself, and the project could provide a possible opportunity for her to appear in public.

“It has not been revealed when and where Meghan will publicly appear next,” Mr Fitzwilliams said.

He added that Meghan is known for embracing high-profile appearances, describing her as someone who is “not a shrinking violet” and noting her “fondness for glamorous appearances.”

However, the timing of any potential premiere appearance remains unclear, with the film still in post-production.

HARRY HAS ALREADY RETURNED TO PUBLIC LIFE

Meghan’s prolonged absence has been particularly noticeable because Harry has continued to make public appearances since the couple returned to Britain.

The Duke of Sussex is also expected to take part in further events supporting the Ukrainian charity initiative United for Freedom.

That has created a striking contrast between the couple’s public schedules, with Harry increasingly visible while Meghan has remained away from the spotlight.

For now, there is no confirmed date or venue for Meghan’s next public appearance.

HER HOLLYWOOD RETURN REMAINS ANOTHER POSSIBILITY

The possibility of Meghan appearing at the Close Personal Friends premiere has also revived interest in her relationship with Hollywood.

Her cameo in the film is reportedly limited, but one of her co-stars, Jack Quaid, previously spoke positively about working with her.

Discussing the film’s cast, which includes Quaid, Brie Larson, Henry Golding and Lily Collins, he recalled how the actors spent their time on set trying to make one another laugh.

There have also been reports that Meghan could consider returning to acting, although Fitzwilliams cautioned that such reports are not necessarily reliable.

For now, her immediate focus appears to be life away from the cameras.

THE WAIT FOR MEGHAN’S FIRST UK APPEARANCE CONTINUES

Since moving back to Britain, Harry and Meghan have reportedly been focused on settling Archie and Lilibet into their new home and school.

The children, aged seven and five, are now enrolled at a school near the family’s new home.
