PLAYERS on The 1% Club players struggled with a tricky PIN number question.
But one lucky ITV contestant walked away with a £96,000 jackpot prize on the show.
Lee Mack, 56, fronts the popular game show as 100 players are welcomed into the studio.
On the 1% Club, rather than general knowledge, they are tested on their logic, reasoning skills, and common sense.
They are given a selection of different puzzles and riddles which they would have to answer within a 30 second time limit.
On Saturday’s show, three players made it to the final round for the chance of winning a huge monetary award.
They would also get the chance to join the famous 1% Club, getting a question right that only one percent of the public can answer.
This week, the players were given a diagram which showed a sequence of letters that were placed in what looked like a random order.
Lee asked: “I keep forgetting my four-digit PIN number. I know each digit is higher than the previous digit but I need this diagram to remember it.
“What is my four-digit PIN number?”
Only one contestant called Dominic answered the question correctly as he gave the correct answer, which was ‘1489’.
One of his fellow contestants was only a digit away from joining him in the club and halving the prize amount to share.
A number of viewers took to social media as they complained that the last question was easier than some of the earlier puzzles.
One fan noted: “That one per cent question was just a word search puzzle, found earlier questions much harder”
While a second stated: “Some of the later questions are, once again, easier than some of the earlier questions.”
And a third added: “The 1% question was sooo easy and the one before v difficult in 30 seconds without a terrific memory.”
