Meghan Markle has revealed she considers being a mum her “superpower” as she opened up about her children in a sweet new interview. The Duchess of Sussex, 45, also shared how five-year-old daughter Lilibet inspires her to be brave when she is having moments of self-doubt.
Meghan made the comments while answering questions from youngsters to promote Cookie Queens, the latest documentary from her and Prince Harry’s production company, Archewell Productions. In a Q&A video with InStyle, Meghan was asked by one child what she believed her superpower to be.
Without hesitation, she replied: “Being a mum.” Explaining her answer, Meghan said: “I feel like we have superpowers because we juggle it all and enjoy it all with grace and grit at the same time.”

The mum-of-two, who also shares seven-year-old son Archie with Harry, then revealed how Lilibet gives her courage when she is unsure of herself.
Asked what makes her feel brave, Meghan said: “Every day, when I feel a little bit like, ‘Oh gosh, can I do this?’ I go: ‘Lili would do it.'”

The Sussexes have reportedly enjoyed plenty of family time this summer, taking Archie and Lilibet on a European holiday which included stays in Portugal and the Scottish Highlands, as well as a visit to Harry’s uncle Earl Spencer at Althorp.
Meghan’s latest interview comes as she promotes Cookie Queens, a coming-of-age documentary following four young Girl Scouts as they compete to become top cookie sellers.

The film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, was made by Archewell Productions in partnership with Beautiful Stories and AJNA Films.
Meghan was also faced with the slightly less serious question of which Girl Scout cookie she would choose to be.
Picking the traditional Trefoil, she joked: “Trefoil I think, it’s classic!
“It’s classic, it’s sweet, it’s all the same colour and I like tonal dressing! It’s the worst answer ever haha.”

The former Suits actress also revealed the advice she believes young girls should learn, encouraging them to “follow their gut”.
When asked about her own childhood role model, Meghan named her maths teacher, Miss Linda.
She also spoke warmly about the young girls featured in Cookie Queens and the bond they have developed since taking part in the documentary.
She said: “These girls are so multi-dimensional and honest.

“Also just behind the scenes and getting to know them through this process, how they’ve all become close with each other and support each other. I think we’re our own little troop!”
Meghan previously championed the documentary at its Sundance premiere in January, describing it as both a nostalgic look at an American tradition and a story about modern girlhood.
Speaking at the festival, she said: “This film is probably the cutest at the festival but I’m also going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.”

She added that while the youngsters featured were “fantastic and adorable”, the documentary also showed them as “layered beautiful girls who are about to become very strong leaders and young women”.
Meghan and Harry established Archewell Productions in 2020 and have since worked on a string of projects for Netflix.
Their previous productions include the hugely talked-about Harry & Meghan documentary series, Heart of Invictus and Polo, while Meghan launched her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan in 2025.
