Meghan Markle’s reported stance toward the Royal Family is once again under intense scrutiny after fresh claims suggested another setback has deepened the divide between the Sussexes and Buckingham Palace. What some describe as a disappointing royal episode is now fueling renewed speculation over whether any realistic path to reconciliation still exists, with royal watchers debating if relations have reached their lowest point yet. As emotions continue to run high and every new development draws worldwide attention, this latest chapter is raising fresh questions about the future of Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the monarchy—and whether the divide is becoming increasingly difficult to bridge.

Meghan Markle has vowed that she will “never see” the Royal Family again after the Buckingham Palace chaos from earlier this week, it has been revealed. On Monday, Prince Harry’s aides confirmed the duke would be staying at Buckingham Palace for his UK trip, which started that very same day.

However, Buckingham Palace was quick to respond to this, confirming that they were not going to host the monarch’s youngest son. It is believed this is because Harry, 41, did not reply to the invite on time. This was believed to be a blow for the prince, who is now staying elsewhere.

It is also believed to have made his wife Meghan Markle, who did not fly to Britain with him on Monday, “furious”.

It is believed she no longer wants to see the Royal Family again – which will no doubt cause upset for the King, who is keen to meet his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Harry and Meghan’s two children.

A source told journalist Rob Shuter on his Substack: “This was one insult too many.

“Meghan feels they’ve bent over backwards for Harry’s family, only to be embarrassed again. As far as she’s concerned, she’ll never see them again.

Another source then added that Harry “kept changing his mind” about whether or not to stay at the Palace, which resulted in the Firm losing patience with the duke, who has not been a working royal for six years now.

This source said: “Meghan warned Harry this would happen. She believes every time he reaches out to his family, they find another way to reject him.

“She’s done. She has no interest in ever putting herself—or her children—through this again.”

While Meghan, Archie and Lilibet did not arrive in the UK with Harry on Monday, as originally planned, it has not been ruled out that they may join him on parts of the UK visit outside of London.

This means that a reunion between the children and King Charles is still possible, with the monarch reportedly trying to keep his diary open for a potential meeting.
