The Queen Legend Joins Forces With The Darkness for an Epic New Single, Bringing Two Generations of British Rock Together in Spectacular Fashion

Back in June, Sir Brian May returned to the Billboard charts without Queen for his collaboration with composer Daniel Pemberton on the Master of the Universe movie soundtrack. Eternia, featuring his iconic 80s guitar riff, debuted at No 3 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart.

Now, as the swords and sorcery movie proves a No 1 hit on the Amazon Prime Top 10 Film Chart in multiple countries, Sir Brian has launched a brand new version of the song that’s set to feature on the Masters of the Universe: Deluxe Edition soundtrack, which is out on August 14. The rock-tastic new track is called The Legend of Eternia is out now and features The Darkness, including Justin Hawkins distinctive vocals.

If that wasn’t enough, Sir Brian is working on a collaborative new single with his grandson Daniel. He exclusively told the Daily Express back in April: “Daniel May is an accomplished guitarist at the age of 18, and a writer and a singer. And he’s in a band, apart from probably pursuing a course in astrophysics next year.”
