“I endured six excruciating months of chemotherapy and radiation – celebrating my 25th birthday while receiving radiation treatment, unable to swallow or taste food.

“Today, I share this post in celebration of my journey. I’m excited to announce that I am now a cancer survivor!

“The rehabilitation has been challenging, but each day gets a little easier, and I’m excited to be on the path to feeling like myself again.”

Alongside her post, she shared various moments of her during her cancer journey – including her time in hospital.

She could be seen receiving plenty of support from her adoring fiance, New Zealand Olympic boxer, David Nykia.

Lexy was first left stunned last year when she discovered she had the disease having been a fitness advocate and largely healthy her entire life.

Speaking when she was first diagnosed, she said: “I’m a Pilates instructor and I teach people how to live healthy lives.

“There’s nothing I did wrong and nothing that could have prevented it. It’s just the luck of the draw.

“But it is something I will FIGHT.”

Lexy first rose to fame on Love Island Australia in 2021.

Since her TV fame, she has built up a following of 75,000 followers and has remained focused on teaching Pilates and fitness to her fans
