PRINCESS CATHERINE MAKES EMOTIONAL DIANA TRIBUTE AT LONDON PREMIERE — HER JEWELLERY HELD A SPECIAL CONNECTION TO WILLIAM’S LATE MOTHER

Princess Catherine made a deeply personal style statement as she joined Prince William at a star-studded London film premiere — with one subtle detail appearing to pay tribute to her late mother-in-law, Diana, Princess of Wales.

The Princess of Wales, 44, looked stunning in a purple gown as she and William attended the premiere of Digger on Tuesday evening.

But it was her jewellery that caught particular attention.

Catherine was reportedly wearing a pair of pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Diana, adding a poignant connection to the evening’s glamorous appearance.

She paired the earrings with the Queen Mother’s striking amethyst sautoir necklace, complete with its distinctive heart-shaped pendant.

The appearance also came on a significant day for the Wales family, with William’s uncle, Earl Spencer, releasing his long-awaited memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister.

The book explores Diana’s life and her unhappy marriage to the then-Prince Charles, before her death in Paris in 1997.

Diana was just 36 when she died from injuries sustained in a car crash, leaving William aged 15 and Harry aged 12.

William has not publicly commented on his uncle’s memoir. However, Daily Express podcast presenter Mark Dolan claimed that the Prince of Wales was reportedly “furious” about its release while remaining “firmly on his father’s side.”

Spencer’s memoir contains a series of serious claims about King Charles, including an account of a conversation following Diana’s death in which the Earl alleges that Charles sounded “elated” and said Diana would be “forgotten soon enough.”

Against that backdrop, Catherine’s appearance alongside William carried an added layer of significance, with the reported Diana earrings offering a quiet reminder of the woman whose legacy continues to loom large over the Royal Family.
