Meghan Markle’s best friend has revealed how people in the UK have really responded to the duchess when seeing her out and about. Just last month, Meghan and Prince Harry relocated back to Britain with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Their move back marks the first time they have called Britain home since 2020, when they stepped down from royal duties and moved across the pond to America. While the family have only been back in the UK for a short time, they have already had visitors from the US come to see them in their new home. This includes one of Meghan’s very best friends, Kelly McKee Zajfen.

While it remains private where Harry and Meghan, and their children, are living, it is no secret that the duchess has been seen out and about in the British countryside.

This includes on drives, walks, and even in trips to pubs with fellow A-listers.

The duchess has only shared snippets of her UK movements on Instagram so far, but her friend Kelly, who visited the family this month, did not hold back in sharing what her time in Britain was like.

This included sharing photographs of Meghan Markle with Kelly’s baby Jack, as well as photographs of Prince Harry and Princess Lilibet with Jack.

Kelly captioned her UK post with a lengthy caption, in which she also revealed just how members of the public have been reacting to seeing Meghan back on her husband’s home soil.

The duchess’s best friend wrote on Instagram: “To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!”

This suggests that Meghan has been well-received by locals wherever she is now living.

This is a good sign for Meghan, who has not always been adored by the British public. This is because the Duchess had criticised both Britain and the Royal Family after moving to America, making some members of the British public hostile towards her.

She has yet to make an official public appearance since returning to Britain, with her husband, Harry, attending events alone so far.
