PRINCESS BEATRICE’S SWEET NICKNAME FOR SIENNA REVEALED — ROYAL MUM CALLED HER DAUGHTER HER “LITTLE ROCKSTAR”
Princess Beatrice once gave her firstborn daughter an adorable two-word nickname — and the sweet name was revealed in a personal note sent just months after Sienna’s birth.
Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi was born on September 18, 2021, and today marks her fifth birthday.
The young royal is expected to celebrate the milestone with her family, but an intimate detail from her early months has resurfaced to mark the occasion.
In early 2022, an Italian woman named Jessica, who runs the Royal Replies Instagram account, revealed that she had received a personalised note from Beatrice and her family after sending them well-wishes following Sienna’s arrival.
The pink card featured a charming black stamp of Sienna’s tiny footprint on the front.
Inside was an even sweeter glimpse of how the family saw the newest member of their household.
‘SHE IS A LITTLE ROCKSTAR!’
Beatrice wrote:
“Thank you so much for thinking of us at this remarkable and special time. We are so thankful to have welcomed this little person into our family.”
She then revealed Sienna’s affectionate nickname, adding:
“She is a little rockstar!”
The note was signed by “Beatrice, Edo, Wolfie & Sienna,” offering a rare personal glimpse into the family shortly after Sienna’s birth.
The nickname also seems fitting for a little girl who arrived into a growing family surrounded by plenty of royal attention.
Sienna’s Special Middle Name
Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, announced their daughter’s birth through Buckingham Palace in September 2021.
The Palace statement confirmed that she had been named Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi, adding that the couple were all doing well and that Wolfie was already proving to be “the best big brother to Sienna.”
Her middle name, Elizabeth, was chosen as a tribute to her great-grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Sienna was the couple’s first child together, while Edoardo already had a son, Wolfie.
Sienna Is Now A Big Sister Too
The family has grown again since that sweet note was written.
Beatrice and Edoardo welcomed their second daughter, Athena, in January 2025.
That means Sienna now has a younger sister as well as her older half-brother Wolfie, who is nine.
Five years after her arrival, the little girl once described by her mother as a “little rockstar” is now the eldest of Beatrice and Edoardo’s two daughters — and has a growing place of her own within the royal family.
