The Duchess of Sussex shared a previously unseen photograph of Archie as part of an emotional tribute to feminist activist Gloria Steinem, who died aged 92 at her home in New York City on Wednesday.

Taken at Meghan and Prince Harry’s home in Montecito, California, the intimate image shows Steinem reaching towards Archie. The young prince’s face has been covered with a white heart emoji, preserving his privacy while still giving followers a glimpse of the personal moment.

Meghan posted the photograph on Instagram alongside a carousel of images celebrating Steinem’s life and legacy.
