Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have offered another glimpse into their life in the UK after one of Meghan’s closest friends shared a series of intimate photographs from her recent visit.

Kelly McKee Zajfen, who has known Meghan for more than two decades, posted the images on Wednesday evening after seemingly becoming one of the first of the Duchess of Sussex’s friends to visit her during the couple’s latest British stay.

Kelly’s baby son Jack, who was born in March, featured prominently in the photos — including sweet moments with both Meghan and Harry.

Alongside a collection of images from her British break, Kelly wrote that she had enjoyed “the best time” and described getting “a taste of this magical place” with her best friend and baby son.

“Family time is just what the heart ordered,” she wrote, adding: “With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart.”

She also appeared to offer a warm message about Meghan’s return to Britain.

“UK you’ve been so good to us,” Kelly wrote. “We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here.”

She then thanked the people she and her family had met during their stay, writing: “To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too.”

Among the photographs was a particularly sweet image of Jack being held by Meghan in what appeared to be a traditional British countryside pub, with a partly eaten plate of fish and chips visible on the table.

Another showed Harry on the floor with the baby, gently holding him as they appeared to play together.

The food theme continued throughout Kelly’s photos, with peas and fish and chips appearing alongside what looked like a cottage or shepherd’s pie.

The new images provide a rare look at the Sussexes away from official appearances, with the focus firmly on friendship, family and their time together in Britain.
