Four years after saying “I do,” Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are celebrating their marriage with the same affection that has defined their relationship from the beginning.
Stefani marked the couple’s fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday, July 3, by sharing a romantic video montage filled with memories from their years together. Alongside intimate clips of the pair gazing into each other’s eyes, the video offered glimpses into the life they have built away from the spotlight.
The collection included candid backstage moments, photos from time spent together in their garden and even a playful image of the couple dressed in costume.
But Stefani kept the message accompanying those memories simple and deeply personal.
“7-3-21,” she wrote, referencing their wedding date.
“Every day I thank God for u [Blake Shelton],” she added. “Happy anniversary. I love u so much.”

From an Oklahoma proposal to their wedding day
Shelton and Stefani married on July 3, 2021, in a chapel specially built on Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma.
The location already carried special meaning for the couple. It was inside that same chapel that Shelton had proposed to Stefani the previous year.
Their wedding marked another chapter in a relationship that began after the two stars first crossed paths as coaches on The Voice.
When they met in 2014, both were still married to other people. Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorced in 2015, while Stefani and Gavin Rossdale ended their marriage around the same period.
As they navigated those major changes in their personal lives, Shelton and Stefani grew closer. By late 2015, they had publicly confirmed their relationship.

An unexpected pairing that became a country music favorite
Over the years, Shelton and Stefani have developed into one of country music’s most recognizable couples, despite initially appearing to come from very different musical worlds.
Their relationship has also extended into their careers.
The pair have recorded several successful duets together, including “Nobody but You” and “Happy Anywhere.” Those collaborations also gave Stefani her first hits on the country charts.
Away from music, Shelton has embraced his place within Stefani’s family.
Stefani shares three sons with Rossdale, and Shelton has stepped into the role of stepfather. Family life also became one of the reasons behind his decision to leave his longtime coaching position on The Voice, allowing him to spend more time at home.
He has encouraged the musical interests of Stefani’s children as well. Her two older sons, Kingston and Zuma, have both been given opportunities to make their stage debuts at the Oklahoma location of Shelton’s Ole Red bar.
Four years later, Stefani is still celebrating their love

From meeting as fellow coaches on The Voice to recording music together, building a family life and eventually exchanging vows on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, the couple’s relationship has unfolded publicly for more than a decade.
For their fourth anniversary, however, Stefani chose to focus on the smaller memories behind that journey — the backstage moments, time spent at home and affectionate exchanges captured throughout their years together.
And her anniversary message summed up how she feels four years into their marriage: “Every day I thank God for u.”
